Join us for an intimate evening of song and music. Cáit will sing and play songs and music from the Irish tradition as well as her own compositions. The evening will also open up an exploration of the history and herstory behind these songs, and give an invitation to the listener to go on their own personal internal journey with the music and song. We will ponder on whether and why these songs and this music are deeply resonant and meaningful to the hearts of the ones who live in the Ireland of today, us living ancestors. 

Bio: Cáit Ní Riain is a singer and multi-instrumentalist from Upperchurch in Co.Tipperary. She is deeply rooted in Irish traditional music and song, and has been influenced by the great depth and beauty of the songs and tunes of Ireland, and of folk musics the world over; the music, songs, and rhythms that have grown from the ground…
